I support clients with a range of clinical concerns including: - depression - stress reduction - anxiety - relationship concerns - ADHD - adjustment issues - Traumatic Brain Injury - acculturation - grief/bereavement - trauma and PTSD - identity development (e.g. gender, sexual orientation, spirituality, etc). I have a special interest in supporting creative/musicians/artists; graduate students; healthcare professions dealing with burnout; and those seeking a deeper connection to nature.
My approach to therapy is integrative and experiential - based in interpersonal/dynamic, attachment-oriented, and systemic training. In order to meet the unique needs of each client, I incorporate several effective evidence-based treatments, including: - Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) - Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) - Mindfulness - Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)
Central to my work as a therapist is being trauma-informed and having cultural humility. I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment to support my client’s growth and healing process.
My practice is to offer 53-minute sessions, yet other timeframes can be arranged.
